Jake was a dog like no other. He was our best friend and companion. He loved to play ball, to swim, and to go - Anywhere. He gave new life to his older cousin Cookie, and I'm sure to Karen and I also. Maybe the hardest thing we ever had to do, was let him go. Cancer and hip dysplasia left him in pain that may have hurt us as much as him. He never seemed to complain, but you could see the pain in his eyes. He left us with more joy and wonderful memories than we could have ever dreamt of. He will be missed forever.
